Bherjan-Borajan-Padumoni Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Tinsukia district, in the state of Assam. It is located very close to Tinsukia city limits, with the farthest forest being 6 kms from Tinsukia city center.

Bherjan-Borajan-Padumoni Wildlife Sanctuary is the combination of 3 separate forests, namely Bherjan, Borajan and Padumoni. The sanctuary covers an area of 7. 22 Sq. Km and aids in the conservation of wildlife. In spite of having a small area, it houses many rare and endangered animal and birds. The commonly found animals of this park are Slow Loris, Assamese Macaque, Pig tailed Macaque, Rhesus Macaque, Capped Langur, Stump tailed Macaque and Hoolock Gibbon, Leopards, Wild Pigs and Giant Flying Squirrel. 84 species of birds have been recorded in the sanctuary that includes Osprey, Kingfisher, Indian Pied Hornbill, Lineated Barbet, Woodpecker, Drongo, Common Mynah, Bulbul, Magpie robin, Wagtail and varieties of woodlands birds. The sanctuary is covered by wet evergreen forests with rich vegetation. The sanctuary is an ideal habitat for the Primate species.

Bherjan Borajan Podumoni wildlife sanctuary are 3 different forest located in the vicinity of Tinsukia town. Though very small and surrounded by tea gardens these forests are teeming with forest birds like warblers ,minivets, tesias, bulbuls, pheasants, hawks, flycatchers etc with several rarities recorded.

People ideally spend 1 to 2 hours at The Bherjan-Borajan-Padumoni Wildlife Sanctuary observing and admiring the rich diversity of flora and fauna. The best time to visit The Bherjan-Borajan-Padumoni Wildlife Sanctuary is the winter season. It is suggested to visit the sanctuary anytime between the months of October to April when the place enjoys pleasant weather. Monsoon season is also a lovely time to visit the sanctuary while the summer season should be avoided, as the climate is hostile. The best way to observe the wild animals closely is by safari. One must visit The Bherjan-Borajan-Padumoni Wildlife Sanctuary to witness the rich wildlife, especially macaque and ape species which are very rare to be found but can be found here. Visitors are treated with the diverse flora and fauna. This sanctuary is a bird watcher's paradise. There are no specific timings to visit the sanctuary. It is suggested to visit the sanctuary around 3 PM so that there is sufficient time to explore the forests. For Indian nationals, the entry is free but the foreign nationals have to pay a certain amount.
