Chaturbhuj Sthan Temple, situated within city limits of Muzaffarpur, is famous for its spirituality and faith. The idol of "Lord Chaturbhuj" is believed to have been discovered in the year 1303 in a village called "Turki".

There was a saint who was a great worshipper of Lord Shiva and was also responsible for establishing a "Shivling" at the present Muzaffarpur (which was a village at that time). The saint brought the idol, all the way from Turki to Muzaffarpur, on foot and this was a great reflection of his faith and worship. "Lord Chaturbhuj" was established beside "Lord Shiva" under a tree and since then his regular worship started.

The Chaturbhuj Sthan Temple is open during timings 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM.
