A man-made lake within the city of Khammam called as Lakaram Lake. Lakaram Lake is located only 1. 3 kilometers far from the city center of Khammam and it is easily accessible by walk or through any vehicle.

This Lakaram Lake is one of the major attractions in Khammam. It is resided near to the Thummala Gadda Cheruvu (tank). It is located here since many years and there is no particular history about the origin of the lake. There is park constructed over here which is named after the Lakaram Lake and this park is now called as Lakaram Lake View. This Lakaram Lake today serves as major drinking water source for the Khanapuram Haveli Sub-urban region of Khammam. Many people are making use of the water for the drinking as well as irrigation purposes too. Today this Lakaram Lake is one of the peaceful spaces to spend with families or friends. Even it is maintained with much clean and greenery grown around it makes the Lake View more beautiful.

Tourists are provided with wonderful boat ride with minimal charges for boating. Some special authentic boats are also provided for the water-ride lovers who come here. There is a mini Tank Bund here which gives Hyderabad's Tank Bund like feeling. It is best for all the cinema lovers too, as cinemas are projected on a projector every Sunday in the Park.

Lakaram Lake can be visited during timings 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM and it is suggested to visit the Lakaram Lake in the evenings as the Colorful lights on the reservoir and light effects in the Park gives a goose-bumps feeling. Best season to visit the lake is between the months of March-July and later in the winters i. e. , October to February. There is a reasonable entry fee of INR 10 and separate charges for children and adults. There is availability of food, snacks and drinking water inside the park and outside the park which has small shopping outlets.
