Ganga Barrage, officially known as the Luv-Kush Barrage is a bridge across the Ganga which lies at Azad Nagar-Nawabganj in Kanpur. The barrage is located at a distance of 21. 4 kms from the capital city of Uttar Pradesh.

This 621-meter long barrage serves as a four-lane Highway Bypass for NH 91. The project was aimed to control the flow of Ganges and solve the problem of frequent traffic jams on Delhi-Lucknow road. The project is based on the model devised by the Irrigation Research Department, Roorkee, and Central Water and Energy Centre, Pune. This project also gave impetus to Gangotri Housing Scheme, planned on 1,600 hectares on both sides of the barrage. There is also a Botanical Garden dedicated to the collection, cultivation, and display of a wide range of plants labeled with their botanical names. One can also find a Chaudhary Charan Singh Statue when going towards Ganga Barrage.

There are as such no special events conducted here, but there is a Maggie Point near the barrage which attracts students. People often come here to relax there mind, and watch the beautiful scenic view of the sunrise, and sunset. The best time to visit this place is in the morning or evening. Visitors can spend around 2 to 3 hours here. The place is open 24 hours a day and opens every day.
