ISKCON Jhansi Temple is situated in the heart of the city. The land for this temple was donated by Indian actress Rani Mukherjee's father.

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), also known as the Hare Krishna movement or Hare Krishnas, is a Gaudiya Vaishnava Hindu religious organisation. ISKCON was formed to spread the practice of Bhakti yoga, in which those involved dedicate their thoughts and actions towards pleasing Krishna, their Supreme Lord. ISKCON is a worldwide confederation of more than 850 temples and centres, including 60 farm communities( some aiming for self-sufficiency) , 50 schools, and 90 restaurants.

The presiding Deities of the temple are Sri Sri Radha Govind and Sri Sri Gaur Nitai. The temple serves as both Goshala and a Guesthouse. The milk from its cows is used to make sweet preparations and other offerings for the deities. Daily programs similar to other ISKCON temples are conducted here.

Throughout the year , many festivals are celebrated here with zeal and enthusiasm. Caturmasya, Gaura Purnima, Govardhan Puja, Jagannath Rath Yatra, Janmastami , Radhastami ,Ramnavami are celebrated with reverence. The devotees can also donate in the temple for a noble cause. The temple also distributes Vedic literatures such as Bhagvad Gita to instill bhakti and a sense of peace in the devotees. An initiative of ISKCON "Food for Life" is also followed to eradicate problems of starvation . It is currently world's largest vegetarian food-relief operation.

The temple is open during timings 5:00 AM - 8:30 PM on all days of the week.
