The Sir Dorabji Tata Park is situated in Northern Town, Jamshedpur in the state of Jharkhand. The park is located 3. 1 kms away from the Golchakkar bus stand and can be travelled within 6 to 7 minutes via the NH118 and the Subarnarekha Link Road. This park was presented to Russi Modi on his 50th birthday as a token of love from Tata Company. Russi Modi was the then managing director of the Tata Steel Company. However, due to inside chaos and disagreements that later occurred, it caused the separation of the Modi and the Tatas. Post this decision, the name of the park was changed to Shri Dorabji Tata. He was the eldest son of Jamshedji Tata. And hence the park was named after him.
