Located in the middle of the town, the Bahinabai Udyan or the Jalgaon Municiapal Corporations's Bahinabai Udyan is around 1. 2 Km via the Mahatma Gandhi Road and Bhaskar Market Road, and can be reached in under 5 minutes from the mapped center of Jalgaon. Recognised by the Central Zoo Authority, the Bahinabai Udyan is frequently visited place in the town.

Known previously as the Snake Park and Aviary, the small zoo was later renamed as Bahinabai Udyan after Bahinabai Choudhary, a renowned Maharashtrian poetess. It was established and inaugrated by the Pimpri Chichwad Municipal Corporation on the 30th of December 1989 and made open to public on the 1st of January 1990. The Bahinabai Udyan has seen an incresing number of visitors since its inception decades ago. The main attraction of the zoo is the collection of a variety of snakes, which gave it it's first name.

Being in the center of the town, the zoo provides as an excellent spot for people to take a break from their daily routine and enjoy a stroll or relax in a more natural scene. A number of species of flora, mostly trees can be found all around the zoo premises, the sidewalks provide for a very refreshing and calming escape into nature. Apart from the snakes, the aviary also consists of a number of birds and even animals which is a cherishing memory for children visiting the zoo during holidays.

As more traffic is attracted towards the zoo during Summer vacations of schools, the zoo remains open for extended hours. Entry fee charged is very nominal at INR 2 for Adults and INR 1 for children. Parking however can be an issue during busy hours as the location sits right in the heart of the town. The Zoo remains closed on Tuesdays and can be visited during timings 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM for the rest of the week.
