Bada Ganapati Temple is a temple located at Indore, Madya Pradesh. Bada Ganpati is popular, ancient temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Temple is located in crowded area of Indore city, about 2-3 Kms from city centre.

Bada Ganpathi Temple was built in the year 1875. Back in the day, people used to give their marriage invitation card in this temple firstas a tradition. Bada in Hindi means large, so the temple is known as Bada Ganapati Temple, since it encloses the largestatue of Hindu Lord Ganapati in the world, which is approximately 25 feet tall and bright orange in color. Temple is serene and is maintained well by administration. There is no photography allowed inside the temple.

On special days like 'Ganesh Chaturty', devooties offer many sweets to Lord Ganesha. This would be best time to visit the temple, despite the crowd.

Other than that, it'd be ideal to visit this temple during Feb - Mar and Oct - Dec. Bada Ganapati Temple is open on all days of the week during the timings: 5:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
