ISKCON Sri Krishna Balarama Temple is a Hindu temple located at Rayapur, on Hubli-Dharwad Road. ISKCON Sri Krishna Balarama temple was built by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), based on the model of ISKCON's temple in Bangalore. It is located at distance of 11 km from Hubli.
The ISKCON temple at Rayapur is open to all devotees since February 12, 2006. This magnificent temple is houses the deities of Sri Radha Krishna, Sri Krishna Balarama, Sri Gaura Nitai and Sri Srinivasa Govinda. The deities were carved in the holy dham of Vrindavan. ISKCON temple, Hubli - apart from being a spiritual place, can be considered a recreation center. There is a place to chant or meditate which is just outside the temple. The environment of this place is that it will surely rejuvenate your senses.
The rituals in the temple begins with Mangala Arati at timings 4. 30 AM and closes at 8. 00 PM with Sandhya Arati. The temple provides mid-day meals to the school children in the twin city of Hulbi and Dharwad. As a prasadam 'kichdi' is given here. The ratha Yatra is another thing that invites numerous pilgrims and it is usually conducted during the month of January or February.
