Located at the centre of the HDMC gardens, Indira Glass house is a unique palace made of glass which was inaugurated by the former Indian Prime Minister, Smt. Indira Gandhi and hence called Indira Glass House. The glass house also has expansive lush green lawns and skating ground.

Indira Gandhi Glass House is also an idle venue for hosting many meetings, exhibitions and programs. This Glass House shares a striking similarity to one that is located in Lal Bagh at Bangalore. Some of the popular events and activities organised around the garden area include toy train ride, flower shows etc. The Glass House has sprawling, grassy lawns and a skating rink. The flower shows here are simply stunning and worth checking out. Other popular tourist attraction here is the gorgeous musical fountain which can be seen on weekends and government holidays.

The garden houses also a Laughing Club inaugurated in the garden on 22nd of April 2000 for laughing exercise. It is conducted in the morning for half an hour free of cost. There is a small toy train to tour the park.

The surrounding beautiful garden, lovely sculptures and lush green lawns make this place a must visit for nature lovers and peace seekers. A walk within the garden is refreshing as you will enjoy the rustic setting, the lush green lawns and the vibrant flowers. The garden is open all days of the week during timings: 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. The entry fee of Rs. 10/- for elders and Rs. 5/- for children.
