The two Rose Gardens of Faridabad, Haryana offer retreat to the stressed, poetry to the poet and pleasure to the aesthete. One is located in Sector 17 and the other is adjacent to the Nahar Singh Stadium. It is only 5. 5 Kms from the city Faridabad and takes about 15 minutes to reach the destination.

There are arrays of roses of different hues, of different moods. Alongside the common roses, one can discover the lesser known ones here. Each plant has a separate board with the scientific and the common name written. It is very spacious with tall trees spreading their shade across the garden. The land where the rose garden stands today used to be barren once. It was beautified and made into a garden by using waste water from the thermal plants. There is parking facility inside the garden and the visitors can pay to keep their vehicles safe. Proper sitting arrangements are made inside for those who wish to take a breath and stare at the canvas of colours, of reds and blues and purple.

The rose gardens are ideal for walks. Several people do Yoga, cardio or simple breathing exercises within the gardens. Morning is perhaps the most suitable time to come here, with the chirping of the birds, the gentle zephyr blowing and a mellow sun in the eastern sky. A popular attraction of the rose gardens is the dancing fountain. As the music plays, the water sprays along the rhythm.

The garden is open 24 hours every day, timing 12:00 AM-12:00 PM and there is no entry fee. One of rose gardens is in Narela Rajeev Nagar, Aravalli Golf Course, New Industrial Town, Faridabad, Haryana 121001 and the other one is in 856, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Sector 17, Faridabad, Haryana 12100.
