Eluru Buddha Statue and Park serves as one of the most popular places in the city of Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Paidichintapadu, Eluru in West Godavari District. Eluru bus stand is just 1. 5 kms away. It is easily accessible from all parts of the city as it lies within city limits. Eluru Buddha Statue and Park is also known by the other name, Gaja Vallivari Cheruvu due to the water pond. The main attraction of this park is the magnificent statue of Lord Buddha. This statue is in a standing posture of Buddha in abhya mudra. The length of the statue stands to 75 feet. It is made up of concrete and stone. Eluru Buddha Statue is situated in the middle of the pond called Gaja Vallivari Cheruvu, which is considered to be one of the ancient ponds of Eluru in history. This park also comprises a gallery of beautiful paintings that were created to spread teachings of Buddha.

The pedestrian along the railings of the foot bridge that leads to the Buddha statue is decorated with popular Amaravathi sculptures. Apart from the main statue, there are other sculptures of Buddha as well. There is also a temple inside the park where prayer meetings take place during specific hours. Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, the former Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh inaugrated this beautiful place on May 5, 2013. It was an attempt to restore the past glory of the Chalukyan pond. After cleaning the pond, the installation of the Buddha statue came into being. Later on, it was developed into the Buddha Park.

Eluru Buddha Statue and Park remains open on all days of the week. Tourists can visit this place during timings 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM. There is no entry fee so as to enter the premises of this Eluru park. It is recommended to visit this place during months like October to March due to a moderate temperature at that time.
