Le Corbusier Centre is a historic landmark building in Chandigarh. It is located in Sector 19, Chandigarh, and is situated at Madhya Marg - within Chandigarh city limits.

Le Corbusier Centre has been set up by the Chandigarh Administration, at the old Sector 19 office of the city's architect, Le Corbusier. The Swiss-French architect used the office while conceptualizing the city almost six decades ago. The Centre displays and exhibits the life and works of Le Corbusier, so that tourists and future generations may be able to acquaint themselves with the rich cultural heritage of the city. The main aim of the Centre would be preservation, interpretation, research, display of the works and legacy of Le Corbusier.

This is the place where the famous architect worked in the very same building along with other makers of Chandigarh. He was definitely ahead of time and its interesting to see that phase that was created to fit 150,000 people who migrated from Pakistan and then the expansion was to house upto 500,000 people. The infrastructure envisaged 60 years ago is still working with a much much larger population.

Le Corbusier Centre can be visited during timings 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Breaking the conventions of operational working days, Le Corbusier Centre, Chandigarh remains open from Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Monday. There are no entry fees.
