Ujjaleshwar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated near the Ghodahada Dam, one of the popular tourist destinations of Odisha. Tourists flow to this place year-round to experience the magnificent spiritually enlightening atmosphere of this place. It is believed that this temple used to exist from ancient times. It is located at a distace of 48 kms from Brahmapur.

The temple a sacred place filled with unique energy and spiritually motivating vibes. This sanctuary is produced from a hollow cave-like structure of stone which is situated at the top of a hill. There are steps taking the visitors from the foot of the hill to the chamber where the idol is kept. A big stone wall is there shadowing the deity which forms the backside of the temple and frames in the idol. This wall is chiseled here and there so that the visitors can go around the idol and offer prayers at a closer distance. Lots of devotees visit this holy place seeking salvation, wealth and knowledge. This small but beautiful temple overlooks the magnificent dam of Ghodahada and offers a view of the same which is not-to-miss. The wildlife of this area includes elephants, various species of snakes and crocodiles.

Special celebrations and rituals occur here during the festive occasions of Mahasivaratri, Sankranti of every month and every Monday of the Kartika month of Hindu Calender year.
